Surah Ar Rahman: An Overview
Surah Ar Rahman is the 55th chapter of the Holy Quran and is one of the most beautiful and frequently recited Surahs. It is found in the 27th Parah (section) of the Quran and consists of 78 verses, 387 words, and 1,589 letters. The Surah was revealed in Makkah, which is why it is known as a “Makki” Surah. The phrase “Which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?” is repeated 31 times throughout the Surah, reminding readers of the endless blessings Allah has bestowed upon creation.
